cigar haven
after a coupe of months of not having my baby by my side I had the urge to smoke again worst still as I’m still too lazy to wake up early enough to pick up some decent CAO petite cigars (as they would put it) but none the less having a cigar shop next to my work place is like having a candy store next to this ex-smoker where all stress was resolved by smoking (before I met my baby) does not help.
Her absence has truly challenged me but finally after having a long slow day of endless short comings; gave in. I ran over next door and picked up a Montecristo Open Eagle. A fine well balance medium bodied cigar with lots of beautiful cedars and a light hint of berries. Though I may have to say… having a perfect pint of “black on black” does not help with the clarity of taste yet I do say I am not wrong when I blog to you now that this simple cigar has truely awaken my taste buds.
The irony of it all…. Guinness black on black goes down too well with it (hence the non-stop rambling) and Maggie noodles in a cup (chicken flavoured) taste pretty good and it cleanses my palate just enough for me to take another good draw from this cigar.
Two thumbs up for Montecristo!
Sorry baby I know how much you hate smoking….
